SASSA Care Dependency Grant Amount
The SASSA Care Dependency Grant has been increased to R2,315, effective from 1 April 2025. This represents an increase of R130 from the previous amount of R2,180 per person.
Important Note: SASSA has increased grant payments for all social grants. To remain eligible, ensure your income does not exceed the grant amount. If your bank account balance exceeds R2,315, your Care Dependency Grant may be declined for that month. To avoid interruptions, ensure your bank balance remains below this threshold.
