Registration of SASSA Account
To register for a SASSA account, follow these steps:
- Visit the SASSA Services Web Portal.
- Click on the “Register A New Account” button to access SASSA services.
- Check “I Agree” and click the “Apply” button to approve South Africa’s Registration Consent.
- Fill in the “Client Registration” e-form with the required personal information:
- Citizenship (South African citizen/permanent resident/refugee)
- Identity Number (Your ID number will be your login username)
- ID document type (ID document/temporary ID)
- Confirm your ID number
- Choose User Title (Mr/Mrs/Miss)
- Provide your Surname
